Oakvigil is a 10-year-old supplier of security and monitoring hardware. We stock 30 lines across 6 categories and quote every order in writing before any money changes hands.
What we do
We supply the practical end of security: cameras and recorders that a householder can install over a weekend, and kits that a small business can run without a maintenance contract. That means PoE cameras and NVRs, alarm hubs with their sensors, keyless entry for staff doors, and the vehicle hardware that goes with them: dash cams, trackers, tire monitoring.
Almost everything we sell is bought once and then owned. Where a product depends on a service, we say so on the product page and on the quote, including the ones where the first year of data is included and later years are not.
How we work with buyers
Small orders go through the quote cart and an email invoice. Larger projects start with a short conversation about the site: entrances, cable runs, whether there is power, who needs access, what has to be recorded and for how long. We then come back with a bill of materials rather than a catalogue dump.

The lines on this site are units we hold and re-order continuously. If something is out of stock we tell you on the quote rather than after payment.

Every product page carries a full specification table, the model code we invoice against, and what arrives in the box. No "up to" marketing without the number behind it.
Local recording first
We favour hardware that keeps working without a subscription: microSD, NVR, on-board storage. Cloud features are optional, never the only path to your own footage.
