Overview

The upper camera frames the visitor, while a second camera looks straight down at the ground below the button. That is where deliveries actually sit, and it is the view most doorbells miss. Package detection fires only when something is left in that lower zone, and the pair of spotlights brings colour into night footage.

Key features

  • Cameras: 2 x 2K, face + package views
  • Night: Colour night vision with spotlights
  • Power: Battery, 3–6 months
  • Detection: Package, person, vehicle zones

Replaced a rented unit

Footage stays local, which is the whole point. Our installer was impressed with the cable-gland options.

Does the job, looks the part

Fits a standard doorbell plate and the chime tone is decent. I would have liked a wall-mount option.

The dual camera is worth it

Top and bottom views make the porch and the walkway both usable at once. No more blind spot at the step.

Questions about this product

Still unsure? Ask us
Does the doorbell need a subscription?

No. Video stays on the local recorder or SD card first; the cloud option is optional.

Will it fit a standard doorbell plate?

The V2 fits standard doorbell wiring. The dual-cam model needs a wider bracket, which is included in the box.

How loud is the indoor chime?

The chime is adjustable across three levels. The default is loud enough for a full house without being shrill.

What happens to footage when the battery dies?

On battery models the final session is buffered to the card before the battery drops; on wired models power is continuous.
